Our Approach

Starting ABA can feel overwhelming. Our job is to guide you through each step, from your first conversation with us to ongoing sessions in your home, school, or community. Here's what the process looks like and how we support your family along the way.

Step 1: Meet Your BCBA and Create a Plan

You'll connect with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to talk about your child, your goals, and your daily routines. Together, we complete an Initial Assessment that becomes the foundation of your child's personalized treatment plan. Expect 1–2 sessions where we ask detailed questions about your child's history, strengths, and challenges—both you and your child will attend these sessions.

  • Autism diagnosis required for insurance-funded services (if you're unsure, contact us - we can help)
  • Comprehensive assessment with you and your child
  • Discussion of your family's goals and daily routines
  • Personalized treatment plan development
  • We submit to your doctor and insurance for approval

Step 2: We Help You With Insurance and Get Ready

We handle the insurance authorization process for you, submitting your treatment plan to your insurance carrier and keeping you informed on timelines. Once approved (typically for six months), we schedule an Orientation session where we explain how therapy works, answer your questions, and create a schedule that fits your family's routine—usually 10-40 hours per week.

  • We submit to insurance and track authorization
  • Typical approval is for six months at a time
  • Orientation session explains the therapy process
  • We answer all your questions and set clear expectations
  • Schedule created together based on your availability

Step 3: Start Ongoing Sessions and Track Progress Together

Your child works with a dedicated Behavior Technician who implements the treatment plan, tracks progress, and helps you understand how to support your child's growth at home. Your BCBA regularly checks in (both in-person and via video) to monitor progress, coach the technician, and update the plan as your child learns new skills. Sessions happen at times that work for you—in your home, at school, or in the community.

  • Progress tracked every session with real data
  • Parent coaching so you can support progress at home
  • Regular BCBA oversight to ensure quality and progress
  • Treatment plan updated as your child learns new skills
